Granite Solutions Groupe (GSG) is committed to the development and utilization of qualified diverse businesses from historically disadvantaged groups.
This includes companies owned and operated by minorities, women, military veterans, disabled veterans, service-disabled veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ community.
GSG’s leadership team created our Global Supplier Diversity program as our way of bringing our authentic selves to the community at large. GSG works every day to cultivate a corporate culture that believes in the power of a diverse supplier base as a key driver for creating innovation and “being the change we want to see” in the markets we serve.
As a diverse business, GSG has always been particularly focused on supporting diversity and inclusion in its workforce and the purchase of goods and services from diverse suppliers. 2019 marks the 3rd year of our Global Supplier Diversity program. Spending with diverse businesses now accounts for more than 5% of our total spend and by 2020 our goal is to increase that to 10% or more, with significant progress in each year going forward as we work to identify qualifying businesses within our current supply base.
GSG has worked with several Financial Services clients nationwide to support the LGBTQ community and all diverse segments and is always on the lookout for additional opportunities to work with our clients, partners and suppliers to promote equal opportunity, increased business impact, education and advocacy for historically disadvantaged groups in the community.
GSG is one of the largest certified LGBTQ-owned Business Enterprise in the San Francisco Bay Area as measured by employees and revenue. As GSG continues to grow and expand our footprint in the US and abroad, we are continually developing the next generation of leaders to develop a culture of giving back and providing inspiration for doing the right thing for our communities, families and employees.
Through its involvement with the GGBA, the NGLCC and its Supplier Diversity Initiatives, GSG provides mentorship with other LGBTQ companies in the SF Bay Area, as well as directly supporting their economic growth by providing business opportunities in our supply chain.
Our Diversity Program mission is to align our supply base with our corporate values of Diversity, Community and Integrity, and develop and engage with certified and qualified diverse businesses in the interest of promoting economic growth for all diverse segments in our community.
Granite Solutions Groupe has created a Global Supplier Database (GSD) by which certified and qualified diverse-owned businesses register with the firm. This database is the primary resource used to identify and select diverse suppliers to compete for business opportunities.
Businesses registered in the GSD are required to be diligent in maintaining current and accurate information in the system. This engagement ensures maximum consideration for appropriate opportunities.
