Granite Solutions Groupe will provide sick leave benefits to all full-time and part-time, regular employees in accordance with federal, state and local labor laws and city ordinances.

The Sick Leave Act in the state of California dictates that for consultants working in California, employers may cap usage of sick leave hours at 3 days / 24 hours annually, and may cap accrual to 6 days / 48 hours.

If an employee is absent unexpectedly due to personal or a family member’s illness, he/she must contact the GSG Director of Human Resources and their reporting manager no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of their absence. The employee is required to contact the Director of Human Resources and their reporting manager each day that he/she will be absent from work. To record sick leave, an employee must enter 0 hours for the day of their absence or the actual number of hours worked on their weekly time sheet.
