About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Consultant to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a skilled QA/Test Analyst to join our team, focusing on testing in Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment-related projects, with a strong ability to conduct both manual and automated testing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and business teams to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct thorough testing of data pipelines, investment-related functionalities, in Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Snowflake environments.
  • Perform both manual testing and automate testing processes, utilizing automation skills to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Execute manual test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our systems.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and address critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data quality and system performance.
  • Document test results, defects, and resolutions thoroughly, ensuring clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Maintain thorough documentation to establish traceability between test cases and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in QA/testing roles, with a focus on testing in Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Snowflake environments.
  • Prior experience working on a cloud migration project with a specific focus on Azure platform.
  • Strong understanding of investment-related processes and concepts, with experience in investment-related projects preferred.
  • Background in asset management, wealth management, investment management. 
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with automating workflows and pipelines in Azure environments, utilizing Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts, with experience in testing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
