About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment and ongoing process and delivery health to support and promote business and IT goals for our client in the software industry that is revolutionizing the availability of outstanding data solutions for application to financial, corporate and government entities with respect to KYC and CDD process.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, hands-on technologist with a business, product and process mindset who will drive the architectural design and optimization spaces in coordination with the broader product functional strategy. The immediate role requires knowledge of data solutions, infrastructure concepts and cloud-based implementations.

You will work in an Agile development environment to support both enhancements to existing systems and new development. Additionally, You will work with stakeholders to understand, refine, document business and functional requirements. You will be responsible for detailed, high-quality documentation, use cases, business system concept documents, user stories and well-defined acceptance criteria which meet the needs of the various project stakeholders. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the client enterprise. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the infrastructure supports the objectives of the project while aligning with architectural designs and best practices. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for stakeholders and to identify and communicate gaps in the current infrastructure will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze infrastructure requirements for the project.
  • Document infrastructure solutions, including architectural designs, design patterns, and solution architecture.
  • Drive communication across the organization, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Build modern infrastructure to support end-to-end data processes, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Support data processes from ingestion to analysis, ensuring data integrity and security throughout.
  • Explain technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise, using translation capabilities to ensure understanding.
  • Identify current gaps in the infrastructure and report them to management, recommending solutions to address them.
  • Focus on the structure of data within the infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of the project.
  • Demonstrate new system features and provide thorough documentation for user understanding.
  • Drive communication and collaboration across departments to seamlessly integrate legacy and modern systems.
  • Regularly report to management on project status, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting improvement opportunities for ongoing projects.
  • Periodically communicate system and process enhancements, conduct training sessions, and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Create high-quality reports and presentations for IT stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
  • Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers, stakeholders to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions.

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of architecture designs, design patterns, and solution architecture.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reporting and quantitative analysis, with the ability to translate findings into actionable tasks.
  • Experience in identifying and addressing gaps in infrastructure to support business objectives.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence for requirements management and documentation.
  • Knowledge of data structures and processes, with a focus on how data is structured within the infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and best practices in infrastructure design and management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Experience in sales support or sales enablement is a plus.
