About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team and focus on data integration projects using APIs. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data consumption layer of the Orbis and Catalyst platforms. Collaborating closely with product managers, subject matter experts, customer service, and operational teams, you will drive the successful delivery of key initiatives that fuel revenue growth. Your responsibilities span the entire product lifecycle, from feature conception to deployment and stakeholder enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Vision and Strategy: Help define the overarching vision for a scalable and multi-tiered data consumption layer of Orbis and Catalyst platforms.
- Strategy Roadmap: Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize features and enhancements based on changing requirements, ensuring optimal value delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, program management, and research teams to facilitate understanding of design requirements.
- Client Support: Collaborate with client-facing teams to address product related inquiries and provide exceptional support.
- Act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints, driving alignment with development teams.
- Drive the technical and analytical aspects of product through training and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the development process.
- Champion data integration best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelors required, master’s degree in finance/Banking /Computer technology or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in Product Management in Software Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in data integration projects using API technologies.
- Extensive experience in navigating the landscape of Data Intensive delivery system
- Experience in supporting the needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
- Experience in working in Agile organization
- Experience in the financial industry and extensive knowledge of Moody’s Data Solutions’ products is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
- Ability to learn and understand new concepts and technologies, sharing this knowledge with others.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
