About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking an experience QA Lead to join our dynamic team. The technologies with which the QA Lead will interact include pre-built Microsoft 365 solutions, Power Automate Flow, Power Apps, SharePoint Framework, and Azure services.
 

Key qualifications for the role include an expertise supporting SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools and more specifically experience automating such application testing:

  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Agile methodology, Azure DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong experience in modern web application development, particularly with technologies such as React, .NET, C#, and PowerShell.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other collaboration platforms within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Competency in Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, with the ability to develop custom solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and resources, including Azure code and Web APIs, with the capability to write and deploy Azure-based solutions.
  • Strong background in automated QA testing, particularly within the M365 environment, using relevant testing tools and frameworks.
  • Expertise in writing and supporting custom PowerShell scripts.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools, and the ability to drive automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the quality assurance efforts for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure projects.
  • Capable of leading automation efforts while also being hands-on in testing activities, demonstrating a hybrid role of both leadership and analyst responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teams and communicate technical concepts clearly, especially with Client Services and Dynamics M365 stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to repurpose automation resources and adapt to evolving technologies and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive the establishment of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of automation frameworks and tools.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Provide problem-solving expertise and analysis to test designs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Given the emphasis on M365, SharePoint, automation, and hybrid leadership, the ideal candidate would be someone with a strong background in software development, extensive experience with M365 technologies, and a proven track record in automated QA testing within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Additionally, familiarity with Dynamics 365 and client services would be beneficial for effective collaboration across teams and departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years expertise supporting SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
  • Strong experience in modern web application development, particularly with technologies such as React, .NET, C#, and PowerShell.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other collaboration platforms within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Competency in Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, with the ability to develop custom solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and resources, including Azure code and Web APIs, with the capability to write and deploy Azure-based solutions.

  • Experience with QA tools like Playwright and/or Selenium, Postman, JEST, TestNG, Maven and/or Gradle.

  • Expertise in writing and supporting custom PowerShell scripts.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools, and the ability to drive automation initiatives.
  • Experience with QA tools like Playwright and/or Selenium, Postman, JEST, TestNG, Maven and/or Gradle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
