About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Product Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using deeper analysis to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope the system and gather project requirements, including the business requirements.
  • Write the project requirements in a clear, concise manner.
  • Translate business needs and technical issues.
  • Manage the project requirements.
  • Lead requirement reviews.
  • Create and maintain analysis or domain models for the requirements.
  • Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships.
  • Work with the project designers and architects to make sure their designs conform to the project requirements.
  • Work with the test team to make sure the tests adequately cover the requirements.
  • Run the User Acceptance tests.
  • Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
  • Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
  • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT / Computer Science
  • Knowledge of domain driven development and good understanding of data models and relationships.
  • Strong affinity with data and the usage within front end applications (with API being the primary mode of connectivity).
  • Experience with data flow within a data pipeline and entitlement layers on top of it is required.
  • Previous experience on data oriented projects is requires as this is a program which concentrates on modernization of various stages of a data pipeline.
  • Some experience or knowledge of cloud technologies and architecture, primarily AWS will be beneficial.
  • Some ability of usage of PowerBI and writing SQL queries will be an added advantage, but not a necessary criteria.
  • Comfortable working in traditional software development lifecycle and agile lifecycle.
