GSG is seeking an experienced Digital Risk  Analyst for our client in financial services industry. The Digital Risk Analyst is critical in supporting the Digital business line’s risk management program. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to independently lead and coordinate first line of defense (1LOD) management, including pre-production change management (i.e., BCI, PRISMs); risk assessments; policy gap assessments; issue remediation and tracking; control mapping; and KRI performance monitoring as well as working with others to document processes and/or system rules.
This role will partner closely with Digital Risk internal partners, Digital business line, second line of defense (2LOD) stakeholders, Risk/Legal/Compliance partners, Technology and Operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, and the Bank’s risk management framework.

This role requires a well-rounded ability to enable Digital execution and manage program-level requirements through thoughtful risk-based management. Additional requirements include a team-first approach and keen ability to develop strong working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, highly effective communication skills with senior-level colleagues and management, and the ability to work independently with a strong bias towards action and problem solving.


  • Drive policy gap assessments, BL risk assessments, ongoing policy & procedure maintenance/creation, and issue remediation support
  • Facilitate Digital audits and regulatory exams by gathering content, tracking deliverables, etc.
  • Document business rules, map risk controls and create business process diagrams.
  • Partner with Digital business line, technology & risk stakeholders to identify and document new risk controls and/or changes to existing controls.
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for products in the portfolio.
  • Manage pre-production change processes including BCI/PRISM execution and delivery.
  • Contribute to improvements in Digital business line risk management processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of applicable experience.
  • Successful experience in creating business process documentation, risk control documentation and policies and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements within Financial Services; specifically, BSA/AML, KYC/CIP/CDD, Sanctions, ID Theft, FCRA, etc.  
  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Control/Risk/Compliance/Audit functions
  • Experience with agile delivery methods, artifacts, and tools.
  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
  • Proficient understanding of digital banking services (P2P payments, Mobile authentication, etc.)
  • Experience designing, measuring, and reporting products or business line KRIs and/or KPIs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across business areas.
  • Strong ability to work well independently with limited direct supervision.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems in a dynamic environment and adept at handling ambiguity.
  • CAMS designation or equivalent risk management certification.
