About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a skilled Creative Technologist to join our dynamic team, serving as a critical bridge between UX design and development. This role is more development-focused but requires a strong understanding of UX principles to effectively translate design ideas into functional and accessible front-end solutions. You will work closely with a counterpart in the US, contributing to the development of a new product by integrating multiple existing products into a cohesive solution. Your expertise will be instrumental in building a Storybook microsite and developing prototypes using Axure.

Responsibilities:

Bridge Between UX and Development: Collaborate closely with UX designers and front-end developers to ensure the seamless translation of UX concepts into functional, interactive web solutions.
Axure Prototyping: Utilize Axure to create and refine prototypes, ensuring that UX elements are effectively communicated and implemented by the development team.
Storybook Microsite Development: Lead the development of a Storybook microsite, ensuring that UX principles are adhered to while delivering high-quality front-end code.
UX Advocacy: Advocate for UX best practices within the development process, providing alternative solutions when UX requirements are not feasible.
Front-End Development: Code and develop front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ensure that all solutions are optimized for web accessibility and are responsive across mobile, desktop, and web platforms.
Interactive Solutions: Design and implement interactive solutions for various platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.
Collaborative Product Development: Work with the US-based lead and local team to integrate existing products into a unified product offering, contributing to both the UX and development aspects of the project.

Requirements:

Strong background in front-end development with experience in UX architecture, interactive solution design, and web accessibility.
3-5 + years relevant experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, and JSON.
Experience with Axure is absolutely essential.
UX Knowledge: Solid understanding of UX principles and experience working closely with UX designers.
Ability to communicate UX concepts to developers and offer viable alternatives when necessary.
Front-End Focus: While backend development is not required, the ability to code and develop complex front-end solutions is essential.
Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams across different geographies.
