About the Opportunity:
GSG is seeking a CRD Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is a support role and will be a member of an offshore CRD support team. The consultant needs experience in one or more areas: Java, Oracle, CRD batch, CRD APIs.
Responsibilities
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in the financial industry.
- Collaborate with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions.
- Perform complex coding to written technical specifications.
- Test the resulting coding components in accordance with company standards and as defined in approved testing plans.
- Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects, raising issues as appropriate.
- Analyze run-time profiles to debug errors that may exist.
- Solve complex defects that arise through own work or the work of others.
- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Requirements:
- BS or BA Degree in Computer Science or Engineering required.
- 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred.
- 5+ years of asset management development experience, with specific experience in Charles River Development IMS.
- Experience developing software using Oracle Java.
- Experience and knowledge of CRD with the ability to develop Charles River interfaces and troubleshoot.
- Utilize a software engineering approach that helps identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively at all organizational levels with written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
