About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our team and contribute to our product development lifecycle.

The Business Analyst/Product Owner will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of traditional BA responsibilities, and the ability to support the Product Lead throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in gathering and writing requirements, implementing new tools/platforms/products, and working in small, collaborative teams.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive requirement documents, including functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to ensure a clear understanding of requirements by all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for new initiatives and changes.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user guides.
  • Assist the Product Lead in defining the product vision and roadmap.
  • Participate in product planning, prioritization, and release management activities.
  • Provide ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to bridge the gap between business and IT.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of new tools, platforms, or products.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative and agile environment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
  • Proven experience in gathering and writing detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Experience in the Asset, Investment, or Wealth Management industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing new tools, platforms, or products.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in small, collaborative teams and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments is a plus.
