About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. We deliver expertise talent for our business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous, and capable of being implemented and tested.
  • Work with the project manager and the business customer(s) to define requirements.
  • Review and provide input if requirements have been met in terms of delivered functionality.
  • Perform critical analysis of client business situations to develop recommendations and conclusions.
  • Ability to change direction seamlessly and influence others to work through ambiguity with minimal impact on project results.
  • Work with the project team to determine appropriate test plans, deployment plans and supports the product launch.
  • Communicate with testing team and work close to make sure requirements are met and verified internally before functionality released to customers.
  • Participate in the QA process for all requirements.
  • Works well with deadlines, has a sense of urgency with work.
  • Ability to switch gears easily as this role will take on 2 different tasks.
  • High energy works well with a tight nit team.
  • Ability to work well with many levels of management.
  • Experienced in presentations/charting as well as being technical and experienced in agile.
  • Written communication skills including process documentation.
  • Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent facilitation skills: ability to facilitate workshops.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years’ experience driving business objectives.
  • 8+ years of Business Analyst experience delivering software implementations and/or software development projects working in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • 4+ years of client management experience with the ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor with good judgment and a willingness to be honest and candid in tough situations.
  • Critical analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality.
  • Action oriented and a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrix management organization.
  • Experience delivering business analysis and functional and technical project artifacts including Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Definitions, Process Definitions, etc.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and management for in-house development projects (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Experience leading the requirements management on multiple concurrent projects/programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk, scope and prioritize deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Proficient requirement meeting facilitator and presentation skills demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions (5-10 people).
  • Critical analysis and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and quality.
  • In-depth Knowledge and Experience of Business Requirements Analysis.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Previous experience with Sitecore CMS and/or Marketo experience is a plus.
